Clear terms. No weird fine print.

Last updated October 5, 2026

These Vendor Terms apply when a business applies to, accepts an invitation from, or maintains a listing with Queerly Beloved.

Applying does not guarantee acceptance

Queerly Beloved is curated. We may accept, decline, pause or request more information about an application. A business does not need to purchase a full profile to be accepted.

Your information must be accurate

You agree that information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorized to provide it for the business. Please tell us when material information changes.

Identity and inclusion information

Queer-owned status is always self-described and optional. We do not infer identity. If you provide inclusion, accessibility or accommodation information, you authorize us to display the approved information on your listing and to describe it in clear editorial language without materially changing its meaning.

BELOVED ✦ verification

BELOVED ✦ is separate from payment and listing type. It cannot be purchased. We may ask for clarification or confirmation before applying the mark, and may remove or pause it if the underlying information becomes inaccurate, outdated or credibly disputed.

Basic and full listings

An accepted vendor may choose the free basic listing or, where offered, a paid/full editorial profile. The basic listing remains free under the current model. Full-profile pricing and any renewal terms will be shown before a vendor is charged.

Founding Vendor offer

The first 25 accepted Founding Vendors are eligible for an upgraded full editorial profile free for their first year and the $149/year Founding rate after that. Founding Vendors 26–100 join at $149/year. After the first 100 Founding Vendors, the standard full-profile price is currently $249/year. If additional billing, renewal, cancellation or refund conditions apply, they will be disclosed before payment is taken.

Your photos and materials

You keep ownership of your photographs, logos and other materials. By providing them for a listing, you confirm you have the rights needed to use them and grant Queerly Beloved a non-exclusive licence to display, resize and format them for your directory profile and related promotion of the directory. You may ask us to remove your materials, subject to reasonable processing time and any legal retention requirements.

Editorial presentation

We may edit submitted copy for length, clarity, grammar and house style while preserving the substance. We will not knowingly change a vendor's self-described identity. Paid status does not determine editorial verification or search ranking.

Removal and cancellation

You may ask to remove your listing. Queerly Beloved may suspend or remove a listing for materially inaccurate information, misuse of the directory, credible safety or discrimination concerns, non-payment of an agreed paid service, or conduct inconsistent with these terms or the directory's inclusion standards. Where reasonable, we will contact the vendor before taking action.

Communications

Operational messages about an application, listing, payment or requested support may still be necessary. You can unsubscribe from promotional or outreach messages at any time by replying “unsubscribe” or emailing us.
