Studio Beloved
Documentary wedding photography for queer people who want their day to look and feel like themselves.
Photos that feel like the people in them.
Studio Beloved photographs weddings, elopements and very good parties across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, with an easy documentary approach and very little interest in forcing anybody into a wedding-magazine pose.
The focus is on the actual people: chosen family, weird little moments, excellent outfits, the person crying during the vows who swore they absolutely would not cry during the vows.

What they do.
Typical investment: $3,000–$5,000. Smaller celebrations and weekday elopements start at $1,400. Custom quotes are available for multi-day events and travel.
How they work with queer couples.
Forms use partner rather than bride/groom by default. Couples are asked how they want to be referred to, who matters to them, and whether there are any identity or family dynamics the photographer should know before the wedding day.
“Tell us what traditions you love, which ones you’re throwing out, and who your people are. We’ll photograph your wedding — not somebody else’s template.”
